We require all RPA students to follow our dance attire requirements. We do not allow street shoes in the studios.
Leotards, tights, tutus, shoes, dance bags and
dance accessories can be purchased at Main Street
Dance Attire conveniently located at RPA. All registered students do NOT pay tax!
Mommy and Me
Comfortable clothing for parent and child.
Tumbling and Acrobatic Dancing
Comfortable clothing. No jeans or skirts.
Intro to Dance, Creative Dance, Creative Ballet, Pre-Ballet and Ballet/Tap Combo
Girls: Pink or black leotard (long or short sleeve), pink tights and pink or black leather ballet shoes*. Black tap shoes**. Ballet skirts or reasonable tutus OK.
Boys: White or black t-shirt or tank and black stretch pants or tight fitting shorts. Black leather ballet shoes. Black tap shoes.
Ballet I, II, III and Ballet/Tap Combo II, III
Girls: Black or pink leotard, pink tights, pink leather ballet shoes. Black tap shoes for Ballet/Tap Combo.
NO SHORTS or TUTUS.
Boys: White or black t-shirt or tank and black stretch pants or tight fitting shorts. Black tap shoes for Ballet/Tap Combo
All other Classes
Comfortable dance attire and appropriate shoes for specific dance style. No jeans or skirts.
*Ballet “slippers” from Walmart or Target may NOT be worn.
**Tap shoes are available to borrow for free.
